Les Renardières White 2012
Produced on a two hectare plot, this wine has aged about 18 months on fine lies in stainless steel. The concentration and strong mineral character of this vintage gives the 8000 bottles produced in 2012 an excellent potential for ageing.
2012 was so to say a perfect vintage. After a harsh winter and a soft March, we did fear an early vintage. But the freshness of April and the frost of May slowed the vines growth. The blooming did last a particularly long period (between 20 and 30 days), which made the grapes gain in aromatic complexity. The harvest took place at the beginning of October. This wine was bottled on the 9th of May 2014.
It has a golden robe with green lights and a bouquet made up of white flowers : acacia, hawthorn, lilac. Then, pear and cinnamon dominate. In the mouth, it is ample and complex, with a perfect balance.
This rich and complex wine can be served as an aperitif. Fish, seafood in sauce, foie gras are also welcome.
Serve at 12°C.
This wine is available in magnum (150cl).
