Clos des Treilles Rouge (Renardières)

This wine is made from grapes planted on Le Clos des Treilles, a slope on the Parassy commune facing south/southeast. The vineyard, planted in the early 1970s, extends over a sedimentary clayey-limestone soil of the Kimmeridgian, rich in siliceous limestone..

Vinification

Half of the grapes are vinified whole. Aging lasts 22 months: 12 months in 400 and 600-liter barrels of a mixture of several vintages; 10 months in a tank.

Food and wine pairing

Its structure calls for red meats, game and terrines, as well as chocolate.

Available in magnums.
